Bought another bug-eye

I posted this news here since the car I just acquired has a spun rod bearing, chronicled here: '02 WRX: Crush, rebuild, or part-out? I just hauled the car home this afternoon and yes, the engine is toast. The body has a few wrinkles but is overall pretty clean and everything is stock. There are some pics of it here: '02 WRX - Great shape, engine bad - Subaru WRX Classifieds
Anyway, I have a project ! I'm not sure if I'm going to build this car for myself, or repair and flip it, but I'm probably going to buy a short block. Unless I can find a crank and rods for short money, it's not worth the time (and machine work) put into building a stock EJ205 IMO. Since I had to rush my last engine pull and build and didn't do a thread, maybe this time I'll take some pics and add a little how-to info. I just did a count and this is the 7th blue Subie wagon I've owned in the past 15 years. Can't seem to get enough of them

Dude, you're awesome. That car is clean, you can just tell. Very jealous that you get to do a leisure build, should be fun. A write up would be cool for sure too if you have the extra time/ patience.
