BC 280 cams
I've just ordered me some BC 280 cams + springs, retainers, and valves.
I just want to know what experiences other people have had with these ( sorry no 'you should have got kelfords' posts)
I've done a bit if research on BC cams but can't find alot of good info.??
What sort of redline are people going to with this setup? What is safe etc.
I have a 2.5 block with cp's and eagle rods, and a blouch dom 3.5.
Oh and heads are shim under bucket.
BC cams. They give you the lopey idle that you want and none of the power. I've also heard ill of their valvetrains but can't remember the specifics. I'm not going to say you should have gotten Kelfords simply because the Asian company they have that makes them is having notable reliability issues. I was going to recommend GSCs. 280s are also a bit too aggressive for that turbo. Technically the 272s I have are more suited to 35R setups (bigger than what either of us are running) and they maintain a good idle.
