I got my short block and heads this week for my first rebuilder project car engine pull 101, and failed to take the time to take pics and post a write up. I needed to take advantage of a good weather weekend here and dug in yesterday and put the motor together. Today I stabbed it in and have a couple hours of details to finish up before I fire it up. I'll need some time on the rusty brakes before it'll stop too.
I'll be doing another one in a week or two and will share the build process here. It's kind of amazing that it's already time to rescue these cars from the grave  Both of the bug-eyes that I'm rebuilding are victims of extreme overheating, so let that be a lesson. Don't forget your scheduled maintenance, watch your gauges, and if the temp gets high, shut her down and walk !
