2008 sti engine chooses

Hi ALL

I need a new stock engine for my 2008 STI what is my options and prices and are there any deferent between the short block and the crank between 2007 and 2008 STI

I would talk to your local dealer, they are probably your best bet for stock. I am not really sure other than that seeing as how your in Asia. Sorry I am not much help but good luck in the search!

The connects rod brooked and effect the block ,
I go to the workshop and they say that i need to change the short block and the crank , or closed full engine .

i was going to post this link but seeing your in asia im not too familiar with the shipping and compatibility issues.
Either way this seems to be one of the best bang for the buck short blocks.
RalliSpec - Engine | Short Block
As for differences between the blocks im not 100% sure as im still learning more about these cars. From what most tell me there all pretty much compatible.
BTW if you already blew up a stock block id recommend a slightly built one like in the link above.
