I can't speak for all insurance companies, but we are with Nationwide.....
Some insurance companies will allow for endorsements on your policy to take into account Auto X'ing and major upgrades for your car so that in the case of an accident...Are ya listening....., they will pay for ALL your upgrades in the claim! It is a minimul price to pay for the thousands you put into your car, so ask your agents about this.
If your company will not cover, I would be glad to recommend our agency in Greensboro, NC, they are very used to the craziness they endure including various seasonal coverage on certain vehicles to maximize in the summer when in use, and then reducing in the winter when use is limited!
