was thinking about getting cobb catback!!! My 06 rex currently has grimmspeed downpipe and cobb accessport v2. I have heard the cobb exhaust on a wrx in a parking lot for about 5seconds so I kind of know what it sounds like but I was wondering if it droned on the freeway? and overall how do you guys like it?

It seemed like it was wasnt very loud and I definately like that.

Boost Loss due to outside temp???

Iv been searching for an answer for a while and came up with nothing so now i am posting my question.

My question is....well let me start with the scenario then i will ask my question.

I live in socal orange county, and when i wake up early in the morning (7am) it is usually in the 50's outside. When i drive my car i can usually hit 16 lbs of boost.

Later in the day when the temp outside is over 60 and 70 i can only hit about 14.5 lbs of boost.

so my question is do i lose boost due to the outside temp being higher??? Or is it that i am losing boost due to heat soak in my tmic???

mod list
cobb stage 2
invidia n1 catted tbe
ss autochrome tmic
perrin intercooler hoses
spt short ram intake

I appreciate any feed back. My goal is to consistantly boost at 16 lbs.

Again thank you to all who reply to my post ;)

Running a stock 06 WRX and looking to add a little rumble! Any advice on what CBE to get that's going to give more rumble, but maybe not to the point that it'll have cat's/dog's 10 blocks away crapping it? :D ... Was thinking Invidia N1? but have heard that it might be on the excessive (is that even possible...haha) side... Thanks for any advice...

What diameter is the IC hose?

The very bottom hose coming off the IC, the shortest one directly to the left of the BPV. It's surprisingly hard to find a diameter here or elsewhere. Mine is starting to look crappy with the band cutting into it, I don't want to take it off until I replace it. I also don't want to spend $40 so I'll just buy generic to replace it. Thanks.

I am about to drop in my ej255 and the wastegate actuator on my 20g keeps getting stuck so I need to replace. I am running low on cash and the ej255 i just bought comes with the stock turbo.

my question is can the stock td04 wastegate actuator work on my 20g until i can buy one from Forge?

Also does anyone know the stock psi rating for the stock td04 turbo? Thanks.
