Hey, for our anniversary I'm getting my wife's corvette painted. It's a beautiful dark blue that shifts to purple, stock color. But there are a lot of chips and I may have backed into it and cracked the nost paint a little too!Cry!.

I was gonna surprise her but because of the price I figured I'd get the go ahead first, so here's the 4 options we like, mind you my wife's is a C5 style, so the C6 pics are references obviously:

On a C5 we LOVE white. But then I saw this, the black top just makes it pop, 1st pic

It's a C6 but here's what it looks like on a C5, with the different body, angle of photo, and untinted windows it's just not the same for some reason, does it make it look like a dodge stealth or is it just me?, 2nd pic

But we also love Pure white, like the one that's super tiny down there to the very far right you have to squint to see for some reason>

has anyone ever dealt with or purchased any products off of this site? i ordered the wrong parts and had to ship them back, and now it seems as though they are taking their sweet time shipping my new parts back. Also, the person i'm emailing at high performance Scott, wont give me a definite answer on when my parts will be shipped, all he keeps telling me is "as soon as possible." has anyone ever dealt with these people and not had this experience? any kind of feedback would be appriciated.

Im 15, and i will be purchasing a first car for myself. I am interested in three different ones: an 08 wrx hatch with an automatic tranny, an 09 wrx sedan, and a brand new 2011 wrx sedan. Now, i know that youre thinking "dude definetly dont get the automatic" but remember that this is going to be a first car for me. i really dont know how big a deal driving a stick shift is, so convince me. I have put a downpayment on the 2011, but nothing is for sure yet. Which way do you guys think i should go? i dont want to buy a car that im gonna regret having because its too slow(08 automatic) but i dont want to buy a hard to drive car that i will kill myself in thats super fast for a teen (09 and '11). Yes i do have my drivers liscense so i will be driving these cars right away. Hope you guys can help me out.

I'm getting pumped!!! This Sunday (8/29/10), I'll be up at Pocono International Raceway in Pennsylvania for a half-day event put on by the Bertil Roos Racing School. My dad, brother, and I will be learning how to drive and then racing Scandia F2000 racecars. They're basically smaller versions of F1 cars and they're powered by a Ford 4 cylinder, 125 H.P., O.H.C. racing engine and they have 4-speed Hewland transmissions with non-synchromeshed gears so I'll get some good rev-matching practice on my downshifts.

Gotta take advantage of dad's midlife crisis... after that will be a nice AFF skydiving sesh in September :rocks:

I recently got an FP Green (thanks for the help Basco) and it's staring me in the face every time I go in the garage. I talked to my tuner, and most guys put down around 375 to the ground with that turbo, which will find the limit of an unbuilt block quickly. HE reccomends staying under 400 horse at the crank. I'm not looking to do an engine build ANY time soon, and I am very happy with the pickup my car has now, mostly because of the low spool of my vf39.

So I'm thinking instead of sinking another $1000 into supporting mods, I sell the Green and make the most of stage 2. So I guess I'm looking for advice, I know the VF39 is good for up to 330ish at the wheels. That's where I want to get. At the 330 range, I'm in the safe zone. So after a stage 2, without bigger injectors or turbo, what do you guys recommend?

I'm thinking a bigger TMIC, and meth. This kit in particular:FS/FT: (For Sale or Trade) PRICE DROP Labonte Meth kit, Spec C 12L Trunk tank. $375 obo takes it all. - NASIOC
Also a 3port? A cryo CO2 intercooler chiller kit?(mostly for track ngihts)
And of course a protune instead of a Cobb OTS. Chime in, maybe I'm forgetting something. Maybe some of the stuff I have listed is overrated(I expect to hear the chiller is, but looks so cool :cool:)

Well, I am leaving the Subaru family. I recently returned from overseas after being gone for three years. While I was gone, I left my car in the care of my Father. Now I am back and he is still driving it (he's in MN and I am in AR). I don't have a a need for a third car so I am selling it to him. He loves the car, says it is the funnest car hes ever driven.

I will miss it for sure, but we just don't have room for 4 cars here (2 car garage). My biggest problem now is what the hell do I drive when the weather gets crappy here?
