my toubles are not over
A customer states that the vehicle will not go into second gear and makes a rattling sound customer acknowledges by signature or initials that this repair is not covered by subaru's limited warranty. The failure has been determined to be the result of abuse or misuse of the vehicle. The service manager or advisor has fully explained why the subject repair is not covered and that subaru has ageed to pay for a portion of this repair on a one time basis soley as a matter of customer goodwill.
January 31 2006 is when my tranny failed March 08 2006 is when It was ready.
During that time the dealership was vandelized and so was my car, in fact my car was the second worse case.
So Thursday April 20 2006 I was cruising in third gear and !pop! third gear gone! I called roadside and they were helpful they called a tow comp. from bluefield, wv amd it took them 2hours to arive(from a 1hour drive) the nearest subaru dealer to richlands is Walace in Bristol, TN(1hour away). The next morning I went to check on my car. I talked to the service manager and he acted like it was probably not going to be under warranty to talk to my dad and then decide if we wanted him to remove the transmission.
Here we go again!
