Thank you for the replies. I reset the ECU and reflash it with Perrin's Stage 2 map and it took care of the problem.
It might have been boost spike but it really freaked me out.
On the Cobb stage 2 map note, it only recommended not to use after market intake. It didn't mention anything about intercooler.... just thought the boost pressure was unaffected by the cooling ability the intercooler.
