mosc is right, you should really just get what you want, either way you are getting a great engine and with new you get to break it in and youll know no one else has messed it up. you can enjoy the car a little before you mod it and with a subaru even if you break your warranty if you mod right you wont have to worry about a lot breaking. Ive modded slowly (not by choice... im poor) but got my car new and after almost 70,000 miles with good care I have never had a major issue. So if you want new i say go for it, you wont regret it
