If you are going to go with the 08 Impreza, you have to go with the STi IMHO. I think that the accents of the WRX are a little too subdued, and it looks like a Civic Si.
I saw an 08 STi tooling around Toronto the other day in black and I was honestly quite impressed. I dont know what it is, but it just looks... Better. It is your dime and who am I to tell you how to spend it. If you are not in love with the new body style, I say go with the used STi, or the new one. No 08 WRX for me.
