I'm selling my 2004 Subaru WRX STi for $16,500 obo (KBB has it listed at around 16k) because it is no longer practical for my family and due to my commute to work, I need to find something more fuel efficient. I purchased it in 2006 and have loved every minute I've owned it. This car is a blast to drive and has over 5k in aftermarket parts. The car runs great with 119k miles and with the exception of maintenance parts, has never required any work. I just had the radiator, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, rack and pinion, power-steering pump replaced and flushed, transmission fluid, rear diff fluid and passenger front CV axle replaced. Again, just as required maintenance.
The Paint is beginning to fade in some spots as Subaru doesn't have the best paint quality. Some one did back into my car giving it a baseball size dent in the hood and drove away without leaving information. It still functions just fine and opens/closes normally. Interior is in great condition with an AutoMeter Boost gauge. Tires are less than a year old and still look brand new. A/C and heater work. This car has been nothing but great for our family and have never had any issues with it. It starts and runs like new.
Below are a list of modifications that have been done to it over the years and yes it has passed emissions inspections every year it's up:
Invidia V3 Catless Downpipe
Invidia G200 Cat-Back
APS Blow off valve
Tien Adjustable Super Street Coilovers with Pillowball mounts
Whiteline Front and Rear Swaybars
Whiteline Front and Rear Endlinks
DBA 5000 2-Piece slotted front Rotors
DBA 4000 Slotted rear Rotors
Hawk HPS Brake Pads,
Stoptech Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Motul High Temp Brake Fluid
Cobb Short-Throw Shifter
Cobb Heat Shield
Not willing to trade but happy to answer any questions. This has been my commuter car for the past two years. Most of the miles being interstate driving. Never taken car to drag strips, or hard launches. I have been very nice to the car rarely getting on the gas, changing oil every 3-5k miles and using Royal Purple oil and K&N oil filters.
